PANACHE is available due to her owners' relocating. Upgrades to the boat in
the past two years include a brand-new BetaMarine (Kubota block) 12 hp
two-cylinder fresh-water-cooled diesel engine including new transmission,
shaft, stuffing box, fuel tank, and control panel (with fuel gauge and
tach), all new in 2006; Furlex headsail roller-furling unit; new backstay
(2005); new headstay (2006); new upper lifelines (2006); and new batteries
(2006).
ENGINE: 2006 BetaMarine BZ482 12 horsepower two-cylinder
fresh-water-cooled diesel with under 10 hours.
GALLEY: Origo 4000
alcohol two-burner recessed counter-top stove, stainless steel sink, cold
pressure water, manual hand pump for salt water rinse, and ice
box.
ELCTRONICS/NAVIGATION: Navico tiller-pilot, Garmin GP38 GPS, Micrologic
loran, Raytheon VHF radio transceiver, West Marine apparent wind
direction/wind speed indicator, West Marine multi-function
knotmeter/depthsounder, Aqua Meter compass.
ELECTRICAL: 12 volt DC
system with two marine batteries (new in 2006), battery selector switch,
fused distribution panel. 110 volt dockside system with shore power cord.
300 watt DC/AC inverter, 15 amp/hr portable battery charger.
SAILS AND RIGGING: Mainsail, roller-furling jib, 120% genoa, 140% lightweight genoa,
storm jib. Furlex roller-furling system for headsail. Five Lewmar winches
including one mast-mounted halyard winch, two primary winches, and two
halyard winches mounted on coachroof forward of cockpit.
HULL AND DECK:
Double lifelines. Tiller steering. Vetus anchor windlass.
ADDITIONAL INVENTORY: AM/FM/tape player, masthead tricolor light, Life Sling,
horseshoe buoy, 20# CQR anchor with 200 ft. ?" rode, 18# Danforth HS with

Accommodations
Her accomodations below are for four. The V-berth forward spans the forepeak and can be partioned from the main cabin with a bi-fold door. Storage space is located under the V-berth and the chain locker is in the bow. Next aft is the athwartships head with sink, hot and cold pressure water, shower, shower sump, rebuilt Wilcox-Crittenden head. Two transom berths, each 6' 3" long, serve as settees in the main cabin, giving good seating either side of the fold-down table mounted on the starboard bulkhead. The galley is aft with stove and sink to port and ice chest to starboard.
