The Sea Sprite 27 is a remarkable achievement in every
sense. Her sweeping graceful lines make her seem like she's in motion even when
she's dockside. But classic lines are merely show without performance. -- and
the 27 is at her best under sail. The full keel and unique hull configuration
make for uncompromising stability, without sacrificing maneuverability. She
carries a four part main sheet on a traveler for easy sheeting, inboard stays
for better performance, side decks are wide and unobstructed for fast, easy
access to all parts of her sailing gear, auxiliary power comes from an
economical diesel, she's rugged, and she’s as roomy and comfortable below deck
as she is sleek and sassy above.
She's bright and spacious with all the
comforts of home. You'll find the forward head with shower and vanity sink
offers the luxury and privacy usually found only on much larger boats. The four
opening ports and ventilated forward hatch provide cool cross-ventilation
inside. The large forward berth and pull-out settee berth in the main salon are
roomy, cool and comfortable on those long hot summer nights. The galley with
rich teak trim and butcher block counter tops is beautiful, as well as
functional. Two burner gimbaled stove, deep stainless steel sink and double
insulated ice chest makes preparing meals and snacks just as easy at see as
dock-side. Plus there are extra large storage areas for canned goods and
cooking utensils.
The six foot head room and wide comfortable salon make for an
overall roominess that will make lounging below as comfortable as your living
